Stretching from the Citadelle de Quebec to the Musee national des beaux-arts du Quebec, the Plains of Abraham offer a vast natural site where one can wander in peace.

Initially known as the place where the famous battle between Generals Montcalm and Wolf took place, this protected historical site is the ideal location for a walk, to bike, to roller-blade or to have a picnic. During the winter, you will even be able to enjoy skating on the ice rink built especially for the occasion.

Only a few minutes drive from Old Quebec; this majestic site offers you a vast number of outdoor activities. Hiking, rock climbing, biking, snowshoeing or winter rock climbing, there is something for everyone.

Looking for a challenge? Take on the 487 steps to admire the fall's strength on top and cross the suspension bridge. Let yourself be tempted by the new double zipline. Thrill lovers will be pleased for sure!

At a few minutes of walk from our hotels is the Place D’Youville, where you can ice skate on an outdoor rink, day and night. Moreover, you can do it for free!

Opened from November until mid-March, you can also rent ice skates and have someone sharpen your skate blades.

The Dufferin terrace is a large stroll where you can enjoy a beautiful panorama of the St. Lawrence River.

Moreover, during Winter, there is a toboggan slide opened for the pleasure of families and friends! Come and try one of the three lanes and slide down at up to 70 kilometers an hour!

Schedule: from mid-December to mid-March, depending on the weather conditions.

The Domaine Maizerets, located near the hotel, is a vast woodland area in which you can do hiking, biking, picnics, etc. The Domaine is an ideal place for families as it has a large children's park, a wading pool, water games and a giant cedar maze. An observation tower will also allow you to admire the landscape, including the St. Lawrence River, Old Quebec and the Orléans Island. The Domaine Maizerets is the perfect outdoor activity for a small family getaway.
